As a co-founder of the popular Family Planning Voices storytelling initiative (2015-2020), I helped document and share personal stories related to family planning. The platform was designed to empower individuals and communities by giving voice to those who have experienced family planning in various ways, including through personal experiences, education, and advocacy. Family Planning Voices aimed to create a rich resource for using these stories to promote family planning, educate others, and advocate for access to services. Evaluation results showed the platform to improve knowledge sharing, self-efficacy, and networking among storytellers as well as readers.
